Third episode - Belle's Father's Journey

1- After several days, Belle's father arrives at the harbor. The boat is there but it is empty! All the merchandise was stolen. The father has no more hope. He leaves desperate and ruined.

2-

On the way back, he passes through a forest. The snow begins to fall. The wind is blowing hard and it is very cold. The poor man even hears wolves howling in the distance. He thinks he is going to die in this forest.

3-

He sees a light. “I am saved” thinks the man. “It is certainly a dwelling, and there will be food and fire to warm me!” Belle's father goes towards the light.

4-

He arrives in the courtyard of a huge castle. He puts his horse in the stable where there is water and straw. He goes to the main door of the castle and knocks three times. Nobody's answering. He knocks again. No answer. The father thinks for a moment and decides to enter.

5- The father enters the castle. He sees a large table covered with food and drinks. There is a large fireplace with a big fire blazing. The father runs to the table. He eats and drinks whatever he can eat and drink!

6- After his feast, the father feels very tired. He sees a large armchair near the fireplace and decides to sit in it. After a few minutes, he falls asleep.

7-

He wakes up the next day. The castle is still empty. The father takes leftovers from the day before for the end of his trip and decides to leave. As he walks through the garden, he notices a beautiful rose bush covered in beautiful roses. "It's extraordinary !" he says to himself. I'm picking one up for Belle.
